Video consultations are available. Please specify that you would like a video appointment at the time of booking.

Try to schedule your telehealth appointment for a time when there is adequate privacy and no distractions.

Medicare rebates are only available for patients who have been seen in the practice in the last 12 months.

Telehealth consultations with parents and carers are only eligible for medicare rebates if the patient is also present at the consultation.

Repeat prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions without an appointment are available for a fee of $25. Please phone reception.

Repeat prescriptions will only be issued in a limited supply at the doctor’s discretion and by the usual treating doctor.

Practice Nurses

Our practice nurses work closely with the doctors in a team-based environment and are available for immunisations, wound management/dressings, health checks and care plans. Our practice nurses are able to perform Ferinject iron injections, venesections, spirometry, ECGs and holter monitors.

Health assessments and care plans are available annually to eligible patients and allow one of our nurses to go through your health issues in detail for about 40 minutes and then spend a further 20-30 minutes with your usual doctor. Health assessments and care plans are bulk billed for all patients.

Cardiology

Dr Cuneyt Ada is now offering a fortnightly cardiology and echocardiography service at Lawson Medical practice. Echocardiograms, holter monitors, ECG reporting and cardiology reviews are now available. Contact Cove Cardiology https://www.drada.com.au/

On site pathology

Australian Clinical Labs offer onsite pathology collection Monday to Friday 8am-1pm and Saturdays 8am-12 midday.

Home Visits

Home visits for regular patients of the practice who are too unwell to attend the practice are at the doctor’s discretion. Fees apply.
